Our History

At 1907 the BAR NOLLA was founded, since then, the group of restaurants, breweries and coffee shops that nowadays form the GRUP NOLLA, they have succeed in experts in quality, service and attention to the clients who visit every day his restaurants.

After the first bar, they opened, from 1952 5 more bars on different underground stations of Barcelona, Clot, Plaça Universitat, Virrei Amat, Horta and Torres i Bages.

In 1973 there was inaugurated the Cerveseria d'Or, the Salsitxeria d'Or and the Otto Sylt, that become classic places in the center of the city,and they offer a great variety and quality of beers and a careful mennu of German cuisine.

A few years later, from 1981 to 1985, the GRUP NOLLA inaugurates diverse more places, Zi Teresa, Leman's, two Otto Sylt, the Daily Telegraph and the classic Cerveseria D'Or, already classic places in the Eixample of Barcelona, and later, in 1995 they extend with the D ' 0r of Pelayo and the Mengi-Mengi, where you will find the most varied snacks accompanied with first quality beers.

On October 20, 1992 there has been inaugurated Il CAFFE DI FRANCESCO, the first coffee shop in Barcelona and that has imitated for a lot of coffee shops in the city, an authentic sanctuary for the lovers of the coffee and tea, with varieties imported exclussively from all over the world. And to enjoy all these products at home, in 2005, there is opened IL FRANCESCO, the shop where you will find the best selection of teas and coffees,where you can taste also in situ, and you finding i all the accessories for his(her,your) preparation and a great variety of liquors and gifts.

At the end of 2008, the Grup Nolla continues growing and opens three new places, the Cerveseria d'Or brewery and two new coffe shops Il Caffé di Francesco.
